The Ells Crane Trail is a yellow blazed 0.74 mile long loop. The Norfolk Brook Trail is a 0.12 mile connector trail that joins two parts of the Ells Crane Trail. There are several short steep inclines, and you must cross a steel beam over the Norfolk Brook.

The trailhead and parking are located on Route 44. You can also access the Ells Crane Trail from the North Swamp Loop Trail by crossing the dry dam on state land (State Land Connector) behind Botelle Elementary School.
